selain dari mileage keadaan fizikal kereta dari segi luaran, apakah ciri2 yg perlu diambil kira jika mahu membeli kereta 2nd hand nih?
saje je menimba ilmu, sbb aku mmg tak tahu menahu langsung.

-open front hood and check engine for any oil leakage
-start the engine and listen to the idling for any wierd knocking sounds (continuously)
-go behind the car and sniff for any funny smell came out the exhaust
-turn on the a/c, full blast it see if could cool the cabin
-take a test drive, open all windows, go over a speed bump and listen for any 'cranking' sounds fro the absorbers & body
-last but not least...test lights in the dashboard, central lockings, alarm, radio and seat adjusters

first, look at the chassis  see if theres any bad rusty points down there, second, look at the body, make sure there is less dent and scratches, and also look at the pillar and engine compartment for welded spots as the car might involve in an accident. look at the service history. when test drive, look if there's any squeaking noise from the suspensions, check for vibrations as the rims might be dented. check for the color tones as some places which involves in accident is painted and color differences can be noted. check if there's any funny rattling sounds in the engine compartment. and also the interior conditions.....best of luck  |

nice advice!
ok let say i do find rattling noise coming from the engine or something out of ordinary.. what should i do next? suruh dia repair dulu ke caner? ke suruh knock down the price?

BUT!!!! later it will give an headache to you... huhu to repair.. bla...bla... and bla..... but others car doesnt mean well care condition... sometimes, 2nd car change the engine oil to gear oil... thats make car sooo smooth and no sound.... but for long term... crap ur engine... so as an action after buying 2nd car.. go and service buy urself even seller said he already service it... ehehe |

mcm nih ar... nih pandangan aku ar... ko nak beli keter, ko kena test drive... rasa gegaran engine, smooth, handling ok tak... lagi satu tanya sama ada keter tuh pernah banjir tak... kalo pernah masuk air, tapak dier maybe berkarat... check bebetul...
